The result of a snowweek

With oodles of time home alone and nowhere to go I got a little Amazon.com happy. Actually, many things had been ordered earlier and we were just waiting. My new quilt was one of them. I'm sure FedEx and UPS loved me.

Here is Dear Husband and Dear Doggie. I believe they might be brothers from another mother. Their days are just too similar.

My longest snow day ever has come to an end. Tomorrow I venture back to work. I had to get one last project done. Here are my first ever quilted pot holders. I will be sending them off to a dear friend in MI soon.

Snow Day

Currently I'm on day number two and already know that there is no school tomorrow. I have one quarter of a king sized quilt done. I cut and cut and cut and still have not made a dent in the scrap bin. I also threw away a garbage bags of scraps. Please explain why it never decreases.

January Quilt

As per usual I am working on this month's wall hanging this month with the hope of having it done by the end of the month.

What do you do with oodles of Christmas cards? I'm send some out as postcards. Hopefully they arrive safely.
