Canning 2011

Today Glenda and I took a trip to the Atlanta's Farmers' Market. We came away with a crate of corn 50lbs of onions, 25 lbs. of roma tomatoes. I got a whole bunch of peppers and cilantro for $4.00. I'll start canning in this 94 degree heat.

burn baby burn

When you live in a wooded neighborhood there is always lots of brush and twigs to pick up. There wasn't any place to keep all these twigs for burning. We built a fire pit today. There may have been some yelling and definately tore up fingers and knees but it's in and works great.

The tomatoes are coming right along. Hope they start getting thicker and not just taller soon.

Working on UFO's

Here is the sampler that Teresa and I started two summers ago. Today I put on both inner and out borders. Yesterday I made the final two blocks and set in sashing. Hooray for me!

Behind a fence

You just never know what may be behind a fence in Charleston. I loved that city! Not that I love cemetaries. Just the history behind the city.

He tries ladies

Husband said he would do the dishes once while camping. Have you ever seen anyone do it sitting down? I tried not to complain when pancake batter was left on the bottoms.

Happy Valentine's Day Bike

My bike is blue and has the coolest wicker basket on the front. It has white fenders. Can't wait to take it camping for spring break.
