I've been slack about posting because the wedding has taken over my quilting time. Here is the quilt I sent off to brother John in Texas. Since it's so hot there I didn't put any batting in it just a flannel back. It was super easy to quilt and felt cozy just the same.
That is a great idea to use a flannel backing instead of batting. Maybe I need to do that since I haven't been able to catch batting on sale for cheap at Joann's recently! But then again I would have to buy flannel too. That wouldn't be as expensive though. Sorry I am thinking out loud here:) I have two quilt tops that are done, just need backing and binding--Need.to.finish!!
